This is where our WhiteCut series comes into play: high-performance cut protection for hygienically demanding applications, certified to <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/cut-protection-glossary\/#en-388\">EN 388<\/a> and rated the highest <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/cut-protection-glossary\/#cut-protection-level\">cut protection class F<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>What does cut protection class F mean?<\/h2>\n<p>Class F is the highest cut protection class under <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/cut-protection-glossary\/#en-iso-13997\">ISO 13997<\/a> and starts at a cutting force of 30 <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/cut-protection-glossary\/#newton-value\">Newton<\/a>. Both WhiteCut models are well above that: the WhiteCut x-treme reaches 75.4 N, the WhiteCut x-tend 64.5 N. How the letter scale A to F differs from the older number scale 1 to 5 is explained in detail in <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/what-does-cut-protection-level-5-mean\/\">What does cut protection level 5 mean?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A high Newton value doesn&#8217;t automatically mean less dexterity. Both WhiteCut models are knitted so that knives and tools can still be handled safely, even in tasks that require fine motor control.<\/p>\n<h2>Applications: meat and fish processing<\/h2>\n<p>The WhiteCut series was developed for work areas with a particularly high cut risk: blade changes on skinning machines, derinding machines or cutters, deboning and cutting work in meat processing, and comparable tasks in fish processing. It also offers extra safety in HRC businesses, hotels, restaurants and catering, where sharp blades are part of daily kitchen work. Both models meet <a href=\"https:\/\/niroflex.de\/en\/cut-protection-glossary\/#food-contact-compliance\">food contact compliance<\/a> requirements, are machine washable at 85 \u00b0C and remain dimensionally stable after repeated washing.<\/p>\n<p>Material choice in food processing is about more than cut resistance alone. The WhiteCut x-treme deliberately avoids composite and glass fibres, which can break during work and end up as tiny particles in the product. In fish and meat processing in particular, where broken material becomes a hygiene risk, that&#8217;s a selection criterion in its own right.<\/p>\n<h2>Class F compared to lower cut protection classes<\/h2>\n<p>Not every task needs the highest level of protection. Where tools are used less aggressively or the injury risk is lower, lower classes with more dexterity and flexibility are often enough. For tasks with high cut risk, such as working directly at the blade or heavy-duty deboning work, the higher investment in class F pays off: fewer days lost to injury, more safety in daily operations.
