Sustainability in production means continuous change. We\u2019re learning, testing, adapting \u2013 step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve started rooftop work on a new adiabatic cooling system for our production halls in M\u00fchlacker. It is just another step in our effort to make manufacturing cleaner and more energy-efficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system cools air using natural evaporation \u2013 without refrigerants \u2013 and consumes significantly less energy than conventional air conditioning. It improves working conditions during hot periods and supports our long-term goal of reducing emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this is just one part of our broader sustainability approach:
\u2013 We generate solar power with a 420 kWp photovoltaic system
\u2013 We use closed-loop water systems with no process wastewater
\u2013 Heat from our ventilation systems is recovered and reused
\u2013 Lighting throughout the facility has been converted to LED
\u2013 We build energy-efficient machines in-house
\u2013 And we\u2019ve started switching to CO\u2082-neutral GreenSteel in selected product lines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability isn\u2019t a buzzword for us. It\u2019s something we work on every year, one decision at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The adiabatic cooling system is the latest visible sign of that process. More steps will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
